It will either be phrased as -
You are invited to celebrate our Wedding Day on 19th August 2023 from 1:30pm - this is the whole day Wedding Invitation

For the Evening Wedding Invitation, your message will be worded as: You are invited to celebrate our Wedding on the evening of 19th August 2023 from 7pm. 

We would very much like all our friends and family to share the entire day with us. But sadly, we are restricted to catering and venue numbers. We hope you still enjoy the time with us on our special day.

If you are still unsure, please just ask us.

Can I bring a date, a plus 1?
Please check your invite .. we can only cater for those named in the message/email. If we have included a +1, it will state. If in doubt, send us a message. Our details are on the contact us  page

Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception - unless they have been personally named in our invite to you. However, we recognise that some of you may struggle with childcare. Please reach out if you have questions and we'll see what we can do.

What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Essex, to all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny, as like any time in the UK. Please bring some warm layers for the evening, we don't want anyone getting chilly. 

Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of  The Lawn residence.

Is it a free bar! Or do we pay for alcoholic and soft drinks?
There is a bar onsite. It is not a free-bar.. sorry lads. Please do not bring your own drinks - we will be charged corkage if  'brought in' drinks are seen. Please keep to the bar for all drinks.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and for anyone needing assistance getting around the property - we would advise you calling the property in advance to check for any additional assistance.

What should I wear?
Our wedding has a smart casual request. Hats are by choice.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors (weather permitting) the reception is inside the main house in the Orangery.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Personally I would not wear stiletto heels.  There are areas of grass that you might have to walk over, so wear chunky heels or sandals. But stilettos are beautiful and suit any terrain ;)

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on Facebook and Instagram. Make sure you tag us.

Is it a civil ceremony or a church wedding?
Our service is a civil ceremony with no religious backing.
